About the position
Waxing the City is excited to announce the opening of our new location in Cypress, CA, and we are looking for passionate and skilled Licensed Estheticians to join our team as Waxing Specialists, also known as Cerologists™. Our unique title reflects our commitment to excellence in waxing services, combining the Latin word for wax, 'cera', with 'ologist' to signify the expertise and education of our technicians. After completing a week-long, hands-on training course at our Waxing University®, our service providers become certified Cerologists, equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide exceptional waxing services. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality waxing services while building strong relationships with clients. Your primary focus will be on exceeding client expectations from the initial inquiry through ongoing relationship management. You will maintain a clean and professional environment, ensuring that all safety and sanitation standards are met. As a Waxing Specialist, you will also educate clients about the benefits of waxing, share the latest product trends, and promote our service offerings, retail products, and membership programs. Your ability to engage with clients through social platforms and community involvement will be key to building and retaining a loyal clientele. We are looking for beauty professionals who are not only skilled in waxing but also have a passion for the beauty industry. Requirements
- Current State Licensure as an Esthetician or Cosmetologist.
