Thriveworks Counseling is seeking Licensed Graduate Professional Counselors to join their team in Mount Airy, MD. This full-time position offers a supportive environment for clinicians to provide quality care while maintaining a flexible work schedule. Clinicians will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model after a probationary period, balancing in-office and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes and diagnose clients according to the current DSM under a licensed supervisor.
• Provide counseling services to clients, focusing on treating depression and anxiety.
• Participate in group and individual clinical supervision sessions.
• Maintain a full clinical caseload, typically established within the first 30-45 days.
• Collaborate with a support team for scheduling, billing, and client services.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program.
• Approved by the board as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor.
• Graduate or post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety.
• Experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing under a licensed supervisor.
