About the position

Thriveworks Counseling is seeking Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW) in Salem, MA, to join their clinician-founded national private practice group. The role focuses on providing quality mental health care, particularly in treating depression and anxiety, while ensuring client accessibility and integrity. The position offers a hybrid work model after a probationary period and emphasizes professional development and support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes and diagnose clients according to the current DSM under a licensed supervisor.
• Provide counseling services to clients, focusing on depression and anxiety.
• Participate in monthly in-house professional development and case consultation groups.
• Maintain a full clinical caseload, typically established within the first 30-45 days.
• Work collaboratively with a support team for scheduling, billing, and client services.

Requirements

• Must have Massachusetts State Licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program.
• Experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety.
• Ability to work full-time (30 hours/week) with 25 client visits and 5 hours of administrative time.
