About the position

DuBois & King is seeking a Licensed Surveyor to join our growing survey team. This position offers opportunities for professional growth and development, including participation in business development, staff mentoring, and strategic planning. The role involves performing various field survey procedures and engaging actively with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of field survey procedures including linear topographic survey, boundary surveys, land record research and plan preparation, and construction layout.
• Take an active role in client relations, researching land records, and preparing plans.
• Participate regularly in business development, staff growth and mentoring, and strategic planning.

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience (though the firm is willing to mentor and train the right individual).
• Active LS license, or the ability to obtain one in 12 months.
• Ability to operate survey equipment; GPS, Total Station and Robotics is required.
• Strong communication skills and a desire for growth including managing personnel as well as projects.
• Experience with business development or public sector clients is preferred.
• CAD Experience.
