About the position
The Licensed Master Social Worker (NY HELPS) position involves providing a full range of social work services for at-risk youth as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team. This position is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS), allowing for non-competitive appointments for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Function as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Provide a full range of social work services for at-risk youth.
- Handle complex issues and exercise independent professional judgment.
- Supervise and train staff as required.
Requirements
- License and current registration as a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York State.
- Must maintain a valid New York State license and registration.
