About the position
The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) at Genesis Healthcare is responsible for overseeing the operations of the nursing center, ensuring business, staff, clinical, and customer excellence. This role involves monitoring financial reports, leading department heads, promoting community relations, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. The LNHA plays a crucial role in fostering a culture of care and compassion among employees while delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Monitor nursing center financial reports and implement corrective actions as required.
- Lead, guide, and direct the nursing center department heads who are direct reports.
- Promote and represent the nursing center in the community to ensure favorable public relations.
- Create an environment where employees are highly engaged and focused on providing the highest level of care and compassion to patients/residents.
- Ensure regulatory and policy compliance within the nursing center.
Requirements
- Licensed according to state regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of administrative management techniques, supervisory practices, procedures, and principles.
- Working knowledge of all government regulations impacting Nursing Centers.
- On-call availability.
