About The Position

The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing center, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role involves managing patient care, financial operations, and administrative policies while promoting the rights and dignity of residents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long-term care nursing center.
  • Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of Florida.
  • Working knowledge of long-term care operational standards and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing center in accordance with regulations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of state and federal laws governing nursing facilities.
  • Formulate operations strategies to achieve facility objectives within budgets and time frames.
  • Represent the facility's interests to community groups, government agencies, and the public.
  • Apply standards of professional practice to ensure quality care.
  • Demonstrate competency in financial management and budgeting.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures in compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and government agencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and center information.
  • Demonstrate honesty and integrity in all interactions.
