About the position

The Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) at Genesis is a strategic leader responsible for driving business, staff, clinical, and customer excellence within the nursing center. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality care delivery, regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive work environment for employees. The NHA will monitor financial performance, lead department heads, and represent the nursing center in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor nursing center financial reports and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Lead, guide, and direct the nursing center department heads who are direct reports.
  • Promote and represent the nursing center in the community to ensure favorable public relations.
  • Create an environment where employees are highly engaged and focused on providing the highest level of care and compassion to patients/residents.
  • Ensure regulatory and policy compliance within the nursing center.

Requirements

  • Licensed according to state regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of administrative management techniques, supervisory practices, procedures, and principles.
  • Working knowledge of all government regulations impacting Nursing Centers.
  • On-call availability.
