About the position

The Licensed Optical Sales Manager at US Vision is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and leading a team of optical staff to ensure a positive experience for all patients and customers. This role involves supervising, coaching, and developing staff while driving sales and managing operational processes effectively. The manager is also accountable for achieving personal and store goals, engaging with customers to meet their eyewear needs, and maintaining a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Licensed Optician as required by state of New Jersey.
  • Sales ability to connect with customers and uncover their needs.
  • Polished and professional communication and customer-centric service skills.
  • Experience with POS, computer and timekeeping systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Capable of working with and servicing diverse people.
  • Self-motivated, action-oriented, and a creative problem solver.
  • Reliability and punctuality in attendance to keep store hours.
  • Flexibility for scheduling, including weekends and select holidays.
  • Ability to meet the physical needs of the job and multi-task in a busy work environment.
