Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)

About the position

HealthPro Heritage has a great Part-Time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) Opportunity in Lincoln Park/Chicago, IL. This position offers a M-F schedule with autonomy in your schedule, working in a senior living setting with independent adults. The wage range is $31-$36 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
• Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
