About the position
The Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position at Renewal Rehab is a per-diem role focused on providing quality rehabilitation services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT). The role emphasizes flexibility in scheduling and a supportive company culture, aiming to foster professional growth and career stability for its employees.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.
- Assist PT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
- Document patient's progress on weekly progress notes in an accurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of the PT.
- Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
- Complete all required documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college with an A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant recognized by the APTA.
- Current license and/or registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant in-state as applicable.
