About the position

Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join their team at a 134-bed skilled nursing facility in Casa Grande, AZ. The role involves providing quality care to residents, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and ensuring effective communication within the nursing staff. The position offers flexibility in shift selection and includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus after a 60-day employment period.

Responsibilities

• Makes rounds to evaluate status of residents and determine resource needs.
• Meets with members of the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate residents' care.
• Documents nursing activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicates staffing problems and needs to the Director of Nursing (DON).
• Develops work assignments for nursing assistants and other subordinate staff.
• Reports problems and complaints to the Nursing Manager.
• Provides feedback to nurse managers regarding performance of nursing assistants.
• Receives and provides end of shift report.
• Assists in admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.

Requirements

• Understanding of wearing PPE
• CPR certification
• Current TB test
• Fingerprint Clearance Card
• AZ State Nursing License
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer experience
• Ability to organize and prioritize with good interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work some weekends.
• Previous long term care experience a plus, but not necessary.
