About the position

Flagstar Nursing is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join their dynamic healthcare team on a contract basis. The position offers flexibility with 30-day contract cycles and the option for renewal, allowing LPNs to avoid long-term commitments. The role includes a variety of shifts and guarantees hours without cancellations, providing a supportive and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Participate in patient care planning and evaluation.

Requirements

• Currently holds an active LPN License to work in Pennsylvania.
• CPR/BLS Certified.
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Strong patient assessment skills and demonstrated clinical competency.
• Reliable transportation to worksite location.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a nursing facility or similar healthcare setting.
• Ability to work alternate weekends.
