Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of a physician or RN.
• Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of care given to patients.
• Organize and prioritize nursing care activities based on patient needs.
• Implement age-appropriate interventions as directed by healthcare providers.
• Provide ongoing education and reinforcement of care plans to patients and families.
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure safe delivery of care.
• Assist with data collection for patients' physical, psychological, social, and cultural dimensions.
• Perform clinical intake, documentation, and standardized rooming procedures.
• Provide clinical support during examinations and procedures, including laboratory testing and wound care.
• Document and capture charges for clinical services rendered during patient visits.
• Perform administrative support tasks as directed, including scheduling and drafting letters.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program for LPN position.
• Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in Virginia prior to onboarding.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association for LPN position.
• Education requirements for Medical Assistant not specified in the job description.
