About the position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at Riverside Community Care involves working part-time in the Behavioral Health Services Division, specifically within the Community Crisis Stabilization program. Responsibilities

• Assist the nurse manager with filling physician orders.
• Administer medications to consumers.
• Monitor vital signs of individuals in care.
• Provide guidance, education, and supervision to consumers.
• Support consumers in maintaining their physical and emotional health.
• Conduct occasional home visits to assess the needs of individuals served.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification required.
• Minimum of one year experience in the mental health field required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective time-management skills.
• Basic computer fluency (Microsoft Office) required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift ten pounds.
