About the position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at Insight Global involves providing nursing care to patients in a medical unit and residential/extended care treatment programs, specifically focusing on addiction and behavioral health treatment. The role requires collaboration with the treatment team and adherence to established protocols to ensure effective patient care.
Responsibilities
- Report pertinent observations regarding individual patient care needs and suggest modifications to the treatment plan with oversight from the RN.
- Prepare patients for examination following proper protocols.
- Serve as a resource to treatment team members.
- Administer and monitor the effects of medications and conduct accurate medication counts.
- Schedule all patient appointments related to their medical treatment.
- Monitor and perform diagnostic screening tests ordered by the physician.
- Attend all mandatory trainings and meetings identified by the client.
Requirements
- License as an LPN in Pennsylvania
- 1-2 years of experience working as an LPN
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Driver's License
