About the position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Care Options for Kids provides personalized, one-on-one nursing care in a home environment, focusing on the unique needs of pediatric clients. This role emphasizes autonomy and the establishment of deep, trusting relationships with families, while ensuring clinical excellence and adherence to care plans. LPNs are supported by a dedicated clinical team and have access to resources for professional development and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one nursing care in a home environment
• Taking direction from the clinical team and being overseen by a registered nurse
• Following the plan of care
• Adhering to all clinical and office policies

Requirements

• Valid Delaware LPN License or Multistate License
• Physical examination within one year
• PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Valid BLS CPR card (obtained in person, not online)
• Valid driver's license
• Experience with G-tube, trach, and vent or willingness to train

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in pediatric nursing
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently
