About the position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at Merakey involves providing direct nursing care to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in community group homes. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities.
- Complete clinical assessments and record seizure activity as needed.
- Administer medications and ensure compliance with physician orders.
- Monitor the general health of residents and provide oversight of medical care.
- Travel between group homes as required during shifts.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited practical/vocational nursing program.
- Current license as an LPN in the Commonwealth of PA.
- One year of experience as an LPN preferred.
- Genuine interest in working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.
- A current and valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
