About the position
Valley Health is currently seeking additional licensed clinical providers to join our Behavioral Health team. We currently have openings in the Kanawha County, Charleston, WV area! Experience working with children and adolescents is preferred. Psychologists, counselors, and social workers welcome. Providers in our department offer direct clinical care to our patients while working as part of an integrated health care team including: biopsychosocial assessment, diagnosis, and outpatient psychotherapy services, as well as brief consultation and intervention, crisis assessment, and safety planning within the integrated healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical care to patients
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments
- Diagnose mental health conditions
- Deliver outpatient psychotherapy services
- Perform brief consultation and intervention
- Conduct crisis assessments
- Develop safety plans within the integrated healthcare setting
Requirements
- Licensed clinical provider (psychologist, counselor, or social worker)
- Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
