About the position
As a Licensed Psychologist, you would supervise and/or provide professional psychological services. In addition to assessment and treatment, your duties may include: clinical leadership; program management; forensic or court-ordered assessment, treatment and expert testimony; psychological services requiring expertise in neuropsychology, child and adolescent psychology, geropsychology, sex offense treatment, cognitive rehabilitation, trauma, and substance and/or chemical abuse programs; specialized assessment (functional, personality, risk, competency, vocational, education); design and application of behavioral technology and other specialized psychological interventions; individual, group or family therapy; crisis intervention; consultation to other agencies; training; and peer review.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and/or provide professional psychological services.
- Conduct assessments and treatment.
- Provide clinical leadership and program management.
- Perform forensic or court-ordered assessments and expert testimony.
- Deliver psychological services in various specialties including neuropsychology and child psychology.
- Conduct specialized assessments (functional, personality, risk, competency, vocational, education).
- Design and apply behavioral technology and other psychological interventions.
- Provide individual, group, or family therapy.
- Conduct crisis intervention.
- Consult with other agencies.
- Provide training and peer review.
Requirements
- Possession of a license and current registration to practice psychology in New York State.
