About the position

Soar Autism Center is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join their interdisciplinary team, focusing on supporting young children with autism and their families. The role emphasizes continuity of care and involves providing diagnostic services and individualized therapy plans. The psychologist will work closely with families to develop treatment recommendations and participate in a collaborative care model with Denver Health clinics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct approximately 4 diagnostic evaluations per week using standardized assessments for autism and differential diagnosis.
• Develop and deliver treatment recommendations to families.
• Provide high-quality clinical services and reports.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary clinical team as needed.
• Consult and coach with the Head of Psychological Services.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
• Active (or eligible to obtain) Colorado license as a Licensed Psychologist.
• Full competency in the evaluation of Autism Spectrum Disorder, including the ADOS-2, in children 0-5 years-old.
• Competency in differential diagnosis in the context of autism evaluations.
• Understanding of effective treatment methods for autism.
• Ability to pass a background check and qualify to work in the United States.

• Experience supervising trainees.
