About the position

The PRN Licensed Residential Therapist at Merakey is responsible for conducting intake evaluations, developing individual Recovery Plans, and providing appropriate therapy for assigned clients. This role involves collaboration with a treatment team, including psychiatrists, to ensure effective treatment modalities are applied. The therapist will also document treatment progress, submit billing information, and provide coaching for Recovery Coaches.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake evaluations of assigned clients including completion of the Strengths-Based Assessment and Crisis Plan.
• Develop individual Recovery Plans in conjunction with the Psychiatrist and treatment team.
• Determine proper modality of treatment and provide therapy according to treatment plans.
• Regularly review and update treatment plans and maintain daily progress notes.
• Submit documentation for billing of treatment services in a timely manner.
• Provide clinical coaching and on-the-job training for Recovery Coaches.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• PA licensure as a LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT preferred.
• 1 year of mental health clinical experience preferred.
• 3 years clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in traditional and alternative therapies preferred.
