About the position

HealthRIGHT 360 gives hope, builds health, and changes lives for people in need by providing comprehensive, integrated, compassionate care that includes primary medical care, mental health services, and substance use disorder treatment. HealthRIGHT 360 offers residential treatment services designed to serve individuals and families with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our program helps clients address addiction and related issues, increase skills, manage stressors, connect to supportive service, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. Residential programs run 24/7 and Individual and group therapy, family therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, Medication support services, and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors patient medication use, vital signs, and other physical signs and symptoms to support clients through the withdrawal phase of treatment.
  • Liaises with on-call provider, nurse manager, nurse director, and/or medical director as necessary.
  • Triages and provides complex care coordination for all clients accessing healthcare services internal and external to HealthRIGHT.
  • Works collaboratively with the residential and Health and Wellness staff.
  • Provides clinical leadership for client health education, client medication support, and within the quality improvement infrastructure of the healthcare and residential program.
  • Properly and consistently documents required information accurately on records and reports.
  • Keeps up to date with operational and procedural requirements.

Requirements

  • Nurse currently licensed in the State of California with a degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to skilled nursing care.
  • Personal philosophies congruent with Trauma Informed Care & Harm Reduction modalities.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (CPR).

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish, Tagalog, and/or Mandarin & Cantonese.
  • Experience working with LGBTQIA+, unhoused, criminal justice, and/or marginalized populations.
  • Experience with management of clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
