About the position

The Licensing Program Manager I (LPM I) position at the Orange Child Care Regional Office of the Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children in California. This role involves overseeing a unit of Licensing Program Analysts, conducting quality assurance reviews, and providing training and technical direction. The LPM I will also represent the division in interactions with other agencies and manage administrative actions against noncompliant licensees, all while supporting the office in maintaining CCLD policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and supervise the activities of a unit of Licensing Program Analysts.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews and conduct individual and group training.
  • Review complaint investigations and provide technical and supervisory direction in the office and field.
  • Review monthly intake and production reports.
  • Act as the Division representative with other agencies.
  • Recruit and hire new staff and meet with facility representatives.
  • Recommend administrative actions against noncompliance licensees.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Experience in organizational skills.
