About the position

The Life Enrichment Coordinator/Activities Director is responsible for creating and implementing engaging activities for residents in a skilled nursing facility and rehab center. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for residents through tailored wellness programs that address the six dimensions of wellness. The ideal candidate will be energetic, creative, and team-oriented, with a strong background in activities and senior care.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging activities for residents.
  • Coordinate wellness programs that address the six dimensions of wellness.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to enhance resident care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for activities in skilled nursing facilities.

Requirements

  • Certified or eligible for certification as an Activity Director or CTRS.
  • Experience in activities and senior skilled nursing/rehabilitation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
