About the position

The Life Enrichment Specialist is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for residents, guests, staff, and vendors at Woodlawn Meadows Assisted Living. This part-time role involves various cleaning and maintenance tasks, assisting with meal services, and engaging residents in activities, all while promoting positive relationships within the community.

Responsibilities

• Answer main entry door and follow screening protocols for visitors.
• Clean, disinfect, and straighten main common areas, including sanitizing surfaces and vacuuming.
• Assist with meal setup, service, and cleanup for residents.
• Participate in resident engagement activities as directed by Life Enrichment.
• Maintain the appearance of the front porch and beverage/snack station.
• Sort mail for distribution and answer phones as needed.
• Promote positive relationships with residents, staff, and visitors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office in a Windows environment.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work with minimal supervision.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
