About the position

The Life Insurance Agent position at AAA NCNU involves maximizing life insurance market penetration among current members and property/casualty insureds while identifying new sales opportunities. The role requires maintaining high production standards, providing sales support and training, and developing strong relationships with frontline employees and management. The agent will also be responsible for compliance with regulations and continuous education in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize life insurance market penetration with current members and property/casualty insureds.
  • Identify and develop sales opportunities within the community.
  • Follow company-approved sales processes for financial, activity, and sales reporting.
  • Provide life sales support and training on lead development for frontline employees and Insurance Sales Agents.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with front line employees, Sales Agents, and branch management.
  • Notify Agents in a timely manner of results with referred leads.
  • Provide leads from life insureds to Sales Agents for other products/services.
  • Stay informed of changes in policy and external practices.
  • Attend meetings to obtain information and provide input.
  • Develop an annual business plan with the Life Sales Manager to meet goals and responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with NCNU and AAA Life regulations.

Requirements

  • Bilingual communication skills
  • Valid Life Insurance License
  • Sales experience in life insurance and/or annuities
  • Lead generation skills
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Computer skills in basic software applications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to cultivate relationships and educate staff on referrals

Nice-to-haves

  • 1+ years experience in Life Insurance and/or Annuity Sales
  • CLU, ChFC and/or LUTCF Designations
  • Demonstrated skills in selling life insurance and annuities
  • Strong knowledge in sales techniques and life product line illustrations
  • Demonstrated skills in prospecting and lead generation abilities
