About the position

The Life Sciences Software Solutions Architect at Capgemini plays a crucial role in collaborating with global life sciences clients to provide strategic guidance and architectural direction on software-driven transformations and product modernization. This position emphasizes the importance of aligning technical capabilities with client needs, particularly in the Medtech and Pharma sectors, while also fostering collaboration across sales and practice teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to assess their immediate, short-term, and long-term requirements to meet business goals and product roadmaps.
  • Discover innovative client solutions through a consultative selling approach and enable new customer opportunities.
  • Develop and promote proactive solution-led value propositions for clients by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Showcase a deep understanding of end customers' objectives, business goals, and requirements to align software product engineering and transformation capabilities with tangible business value.
  • Engage with global engagement and delivery teams to ensure effective hand-off to the post-sale technical team for solution delivery.
  • Mentor global architects and delivery teams on solution architect best practices.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in software engineering, with client-facing experience in a solutions architecture, technical consulting, or presales engineering role.
  • Experience working with Medical devices, Pharma, or Health Tech R&D teams, building cloud-native, event-driven digital health or clinical applications at scale.
  • Knowledge of distributed computing and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, etc.) to build large-scale solutions with the latest generation of technologies.
  • Experience with solution selling and quantification of business value to life sciences customers.
  • Design, develop, and deliver industry and customer value propositions related to software transformation in life sciences.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or information technology.
