About the position

The Life Sciences R&D Management Consulting Senior Manager at Accenture is responsible for leading consulting efforts in the Life Sciences sector, focusing on helping clients in biopharma and biotech accelerate their product development processes. This role involves analyzing current R&D strategies, designing solutions for patient engagement, and advising clients on becoming data-driven and AI-enabled organizations. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to inspire teams and build trusted relationships with senior clients.

Responsibilities

• Help biopharma and/or biotech clients get products to patients faster.
• Lead analysis of current product development and R&D strategies.
• Head up teams designing and deploying solutions focusing on patient engagement throughout the development cycle.
• Advise clients on using next-generation capabilities and operating models to become data-driven, AI-enabled organizations.
• Design and deploy change management projects for long-term client success.
• Build relationships with senior clients to establish Accenture as a trusted partner.
• Drive business development efforts and help build the Accenture Consulting practice.
• Develop Accenture's thought leadership and technical expertise in pharmaceutical, med tech, and/or biopharma R&D.

Requirements

• Minimum of seven years' consulting experience.
• Minimum of seven years' experience in the Life Sciences R&D industry.
• A Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in science or health engineering.
• Deep understanding of pharma, med tech, and/or biopharma R&D and product life cycle processes and technologies.
• At least four years' experience in Life Sciences R&D in areas such as research, clinical development/operations, pharmacovigilance, regulatory, medical affairs, MedTech, patient services, or related areas.
• Experience in a top-tier consulting firm with a strong emphasis on management consulting.
• Existing network of clients in the Life Sciences field.
• Deep strategic consulting experience.
