About the position

The Lifecycle & Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for architecting the customer journey, focusing on driving engagement and loyalty through effective email marketing strategies. This role involves leading the email marketing strategy, optimizing customer retention, and utilizing data-driven personalization to enhance customer experiences and drive repeat purchases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our email marketing strategy including promotional, transactional, and lifecycle campaigns.
  • Manage lifecycle campaigns from welcome emails to re-engagement flows, ensuring effectiveness.
  • Develop creative strategies to grow the email list and increase subscriber engagement.
  • Focus on improving customer retention during the first 30, 60, and 90 days with personalized workflows.
  • Use customer data to create segmented, behavior-driven campaigns that resonate with the audience.
  • Collaborate with eCommerce, product, and customer service teams to align campaigns with business goals.
  • Leverage the Rewards program to drive loyalty through targeted email campaigns.
  • Continuously test and optimize email campaigns for performance through A/B testing.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key email performance metrics for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED with 4-6 years of experience in email and lifecycle marketing, preferably in eCommerce.
  • Proficiency with Klaviyo and Shopify, managing automated workflows and analyzing performance data.
  • Strong experience using customer data to drive personalized email campaigns.
  • Ability to craft compelling email content while using data to measure results.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Meticulous attention to detail ensuring compliance with regulations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a hybrid remote/in-office work environment.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and CAN-SPAM regulations.
