About the position

The Lifecycle Marketing Coordinator at Player 15 Group is a pivotal role that supports the marketing efforts for the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, and Footprint Center. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about creating memorable experiences and are committed to excellence. The coordinator will primarily focus on digital outbound communications, marketing automation, and mobile marketing, particularly for concerts and live events at the Footprint Center. The role requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills to effectively engage audiences through various marketing channels. In this role, the Lifecycle Marketing Coordinator will leverage the email marketing automation platform, Airship, to design, develop, and launch email and mobile campaigns. The coordinator will be responsible for creating visually appealing and responsive campaigns that communicate the intended message to key audiences. Thorough testing of email and mobile campaigns will be essential, examining aspects such as subject lines, design, content, and audience targeting. The coordinator will also utilize dynamic content and personalization tactics to enhance customer engagement. Additionally, the coordinator will maintain complex messaging calendars and journey maps, ensuring that all marketing plans are accurately documented and evolve as needed. Regular performance reports and analyses will be prepared to share insights with key stakeholders, driving continuous improvement in the lifecycle marketing program. The role also involves managing a database of marketing contacts, ensuring timely and relevant content delivery while adhering to best practices in digital marketing, including compliance with unsubscribe and CAN-SPAM regulations. The Lifecycle Marketing Coordinator will develop and maintain lifecycle automations that guide consumers from brand discovery to conversion, continually optimizing these journeys to deliver relevant content to unique customer segments. Responsibilities

  • Leverage the email marketing automation platform, Airship, to design, develop, and launch email and mobile campaigns.
  • Create beautiful, responsive email and mobile campaigns that effectively communicate the intended message to key audiences.
  • Conduct thorough email and mobile campaign testing from various standpoints including subject lines, design, content, copy, audience, and more.
  • Utilize dynamic content and personalization tactics to customize email campaigns using customer profile fields and attributes.
  • Maintain complex messaging calendars, journey maps, and documentation to provide a centralized view and ensure accuracy as plans evolve.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and analysis to share with key stakeholders in report and presentation formats, supporting our goals to drive continuous improvement in our lifecycle marketing program.
  • Manage a database of marketing contacts, assuring each contact is delivered timely, appropriate, and relevant content.
  • Responsible for list health, hygiene, and digital marketing best practices, including unsubscribe and CAN-SPAM compliance and accessibility measures.
  • Develop and maintain lifecycle automations, guiding the consumer through a journey from brand discovery onward through conversion.
  • Continually adjust and optimize journeys to deliver relevant content to unique customer segments.

Requirements

  • 1+ year experience using developing and launching emails from an enterprise ESP.
  • Comfortable executing all parts of the email development process, from concept to design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools.
  • Committed to ensuring an exceptional customer experience for internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and intellectually curious, driven by a desire for continuous improvement.
  • A team player with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comfortable making decisions, and confidently changing course when needed.
  • Focus on solving issues through teamwork and collaboration.
