About the position

The Lifestyle Event Service Manager at Fontainebleau Las Vegas plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of events by overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution. This position involves strategic planning, which includes setting objectives, defining the event's scope, and creating an overall event strategy. The manager will assist with site inspections, proposals, and reporting for events, providing essential support to the Nightlife Event Director and the Vice President of Lifestyle Events. Collaboration with various departments is key to ensuring seamless event execution, making strong interpersonal skills vital for this role. In addition to event planning, the Lifestyle Event Service Manager is responsible for overseeing service operations to guarantee quality customer support and after-sales services. This includes formulating procedures and policies that guide service staff in delivering exceptional service. Establishing quality standards for staff, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, and auditing service department operations to identify inefficiencies are also critical responsibilities. The manager will manage the budget related to the service department and prepare comprehensive reports detailing all aspects of events for senior management. Flexibility to perform other job-related tasks as necessary and respond with urgency is expected in this dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Strong network of corporate and social clientele.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
  • Experience in high-volume entertainment or hospitality event sales and operations.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven sales ability while maintaining a positive, client-focused, and professional manner.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Demonstrated experience in a dynamic environment with frequent changes.
