About the position

AQUALIS is seeking a National Sales Manager for Lift Stations, a pivotal role responsible for driving revenue growth and fostering strong client relationships within the water management sector. As the nationwide leader in comprehensive water management services, AQUALIS focuses on maintaining, inspecting, and repairing post-construction storm water and lift station systems. The National Sales Manager will play a crucial role in delivering sustainable water management solutions to various industries, including retail, commercial, industrial, municipal, healthcare, education, and multi-family properties. In this role, the National Sales Manager will be tasked with generating new revenue streams and managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure. This includes developing a robust pipeline of opportunities, validating leads, managing proposals, and ensuring client onboarding. The position requires a proactive approach to business development, with a focus on building and maintaining high-level contacts with current and prospective clients. The National Sales Manager will also be responsible for driving negotiations on client contracts and ensuring successful implementation of solutions. Responsibilities

  • Develop a pipeline of viable opportunities that exceeds sales quotas and keep abreast of prospects.
  • Own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure, including proposals, scoping, pricing, and contract negotiations.
  • Deliver revenue growth aligned with the category strategies and profit objectives of the company.
  • Generate business opportunities through professional, dedicated prospecting and lead generation.
  • Orchestrate discussions with senior executives around their business needs.
  • Lead negotiations on client contracts.
  • Drive prospects through to contract award, including proposal presentation and successful implementation of the solution with clients.
  • Build, deepen, and maintain high-level contacts with current and prospective business partners to increase market penetration and brand recognition.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Create and maintain customer business plans that layout the strategy, objectives, and tactics to achieve success with a customer.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the water management or environmental services industry.
  • Strong understanding of business development and lead generation strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM systems for pipeline management and client onboarding.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the stormwater or lift station sectors.
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance regulations and standards.
  • Previous experience in a national sales role.
