About The Position

Snap-on in Crystal Lake is seeking associates for 1st shift Set Assembly. Work on the assembly line, placing items in trays and moving them down the line. Production process for joining screwdrivers and packaging. 1st shift hours are 5:30am-2:00pm. You must be able to work mandatory overtime.

Requirements

• Previous light assembly preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 35 pounds
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Dependable & flexible
• High school diploma/equivalent or 2 or more years on the job experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Work on the assembly line, placing items in trays and moving them down the line.
• Load, unload, and stores freight using electric and LP forklift trucks or hand pallet jacks
• Receives inventory by visually comparing stock and quantity against a receiving document
• Counts and verifies stock in picking and reserve locations
• Processes customer orders by picking stock
• Packing stock into shipping cartons
• Operates Hand Bander, Stretch Wrap Machine, computerized UPS machines, computer terminals, etc.
