As a Light Duty Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a variety of diesel and automotive vehicles, ensuring they are safe and operational for our customers. Responsibilities

  • Repair light duty to medium duty diesel vehicles and automotive vehicles
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance on gas and diesel vehicles
  • Work on vehicles such as Ram 5500, handicap vans, and small Isuzu diesel trucks
  • Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
  • Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
  • Be responsible for all maintenance as a diesel technician
  • Work in a clean and safe environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an automotive/diesel technician
  • Experience with Ford, GM, and Dodge diesel vehicles preferred
  • Experience working on diesel and/or auto trucks required
  • Knowledge of shop equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • 5+ years of diesel technician experience required
  • Formally trained by dealership or trade school highly preferred
