About The Position

The Light Equipment Operator/Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency and customer satisfaction at Boston Logan International Airport. This position involves operating and maintaining various types of equipment to ensure clean, safe, and accessible parking areas while providing assistance to customers. Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, math, and machine operation skills, and the ability to communicate in standard English.
• 3 - 5 years' airport related experience.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions except for corrective lenses and automatic transmission.
• Massachusetts Hoisting License class 2A.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various types of equipment to clear parking areas of debris, snow, or other obstructions.
• Monitor and secure garages and lots for security issues, breakdowns, illegally parked and overnight cars.
• Provide customer assistance with jump-starts, unlocking vehicles, directing traffic, and liaising with outside companies.
• Respond to emergency situations according to airport procedures and codes and perform other duties as assigned.
