About the position
The Lighting Controls Technician will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced lighting control systems for stadium and sports lighting projects. This role involves setting up, operating, maintaining, and repairing LED installations, ensuring that lighting solutions meet the needs of various clients across the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Implement lighting control systems using DMX controls.
- Collaborate with project managers and electrical engineers to integrate lighting controls into overall project designs.
- Conduct site assessments to determine appropriate lighting solutions and controls for diverse settings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical controls and lighting systems.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and staff on lighting control systems and technologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in lighting and control systems.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in lighting controls, electrical systems, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in DMX controls, LED lighting technologies, and electrical controls.
- Willing/able to travel nationally as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, or related field preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
