LIMS Consultant

About the position

The LIMS Consultant role involves providing expertise in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), specifically with LabWare LIMS. The consultant will be responsible for managing client engagements, implementing and upgrading LIMS, and providing support across multiple geographical operations. This position requires a solid technical background and experience in business analysis, as well as the ability to streamline operations in quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage client engagements with multiple geographies of operations.
• Implement and upgrade LabWare LIMS systems.
• Provide LIMS support and consulting on solutions for streamlining operations in QA/QC.
• Create requirement documents, design documents, and architecture blueprints.
• Document test plans and capture test results.
• Work on production support, customization, and enhancements of LIMS.
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of overall technical experience in LabWare LIMS.
• Experience in LIMS implementation, upgradation, and support.
• Strong experience with technical management of projects.
• Experience in client service management, particularly in the Agri, oil and gas industry, or system integration and consulting.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Oracle Database, SQL Server, MQL, Informatica ETL, Unix Scripting, and Crystal Reports.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with STARLIMS and its modules like Sample Management and Inventory Management.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing IT including Quality System Regulation and 21 CFR Part 11.
• Experience in SDLC and Agile model delivery, as well as ITIL and ITSM process integrations.
