About the position

The Line Attendant at Delta Center is responsible for delivering and serving food at scheduled events for the Utah Jazz and Utah Hockey Club. This part-time role involves ensuring the accurate execution of catering functions, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service during events.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Arrange tables and decorations for events.
• Set up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly clean the location after events are completed.
• Return food and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
• Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.
