About the position

The Line Cook at Eden Resort & Suites is responsible for preparing dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards. This role requires teamwork and effective communication to deliver outstanding customer service in a high-volume environment. The position may require working on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the basic components of each dish on our menu
  • Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures
  • Ensure that the kitchen, food prep areas, and food storage areas meet cleaning standards
  • Work with a team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed
  • Monitor product freshness and rotate out old products based on the restaurant's schedule
  • Run a Char Grill and check temperatures on steaks
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • A minimum of one (1) year of ala carte, line cooking experience in a high-volume environment is required
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred
  • High level of professionalism
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Customer service ensures every guest has an outstanding experience
