About the position

As a Line Cook, you will be preparing food the Red Robin way, which includes cutting, sautéing, broiling, frying, and cooking various meals including meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, salads, and other ingredients. You will be keeping guests worry-free by adhering to safe food handling and cleanliness rules. In addition to base pay, you will also receive a free meal each shift. The role is also eligible to enjoy flexible work schedules, a 50% discount on Red Robin food and 25% for your family, referral bonuses for bringing new members to our team, and additional compensation and benefits that are listed below. Responsibilities

  • Prepare food according to Red Robin standards including cutting, sautéing, broiling, frying, and cooking various meals.
  • Adhere to safe food handling and cleanliness rules to ensure guest safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Provide excellent service to guests by preparing meals quickly and accurately.

Requirements

  • Must be 17 years or older to apply.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
