About the position

The Full-Time Cold Cook at Belmont Village Aliso Viejo is responsible for preparing meals from scratch, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare meals from scratch according to assigned recipe specifications and quality standards
• Follow recipes, manage portion control, and ensure attractive plate presentation
• Properly manage cook times while preparing and multitasking several orders at a time
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures
• Follow checklists and company procedures to ensure the kitchen is stocked and well maintained at all times

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and speak proficient English
• Minimum of 6 months line cook experience in upscale casual dining or an equivalent environment
• Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules including weekends and holidays as needed
