About the position

We are seeking experienced Line Cooks and Dishwashers/Food Prep for a small full-service Mexican restaurant in Norwalk. The ideal candidates will have a background in a full-service restaurant kitchen, particularly with Mexican cuisine and traditional American breakfast dishes. This role requires teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Assist with food preparation and dishwashing as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
• Follow health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation.

Requirements

• Two years of experience in a full-service restaurant kitchen setting.
• Knowledge and experience in Mexican food and traditional American breakfast.
• Ability to work well in a team setting and assist with various tasks.
• Reliability and willingness to learn and follow instructions and routines.
• Open availability from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Sunday to Monday.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
