The position involves assisting with the handling of baggage and cargo, ensuring they are tagged and stored correctly in the baggage holding area. The role requires close collaboration with Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to ensure that baggage and cargo are pulled and loaded onto the correct aircraft as per the manifest provided by the CSR. The position also includes escorting passengers to and from aircraft, operating ground support equipment safely, and assisting with aircraft towing. Additional responsibilities may include flight following duties such as answering phones, assisting with radio calls, and managing parking assignments. General housekeeping duties for the Operations buildings, parking lots, and company vehicles are also part of the job, along with setting up the Operations building in the morning, which includes making coffee, laying out newspapers, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the day. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
