About The Position
These Transmission Line Engineer positions report to the Coastal Transmission Maintenance Area Manager and are responsible for leading the Savannah TMC and Brunswick TMC area line maintenance programs, preparing and closing capital and maintenance work orders, coordinating material needs, overseeing maintenance and inspection programs and contractors, entering and reviewing data, coordinating work activities with other departments, patrolling transmission lines, coordinating repairs on transmission lines and associated equipment, attending Planning & Pre-construction meetings, and providing technical support to the TMC Contract Line crew. The transmission maintenance engineer must have a positive attitude, work well in a team environment, and possess excellent customer service skills for interaction with customers and property owners. These positions will be filled at Exempt Level 3-6, dependent upon the qualifications, skills, and experience of the successful candidates. The successful candidate must live within commutable distance of the Coastal Transmission Maintenance Area and be willing to quickly relocate. These positions are in Savannah, GA and Brunswick, GA. Relocation assistance available, if qualified.
