About the position
This position is for a team leader at the A Line - Euclid Plant, working full-time year-round. The working shift is during the day, from 5:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential variations depending on production needs. The role requires a pre-employment drug test and involves assisting the supervisor in implementing Stemilt standards throughout the production line.
Responsibilities
- Assist the supervisor in implementing Stemilt standards throughout the line.
- Be a team leader and motivate the line.
- Adjust line speed as necessary.
- Monitor cost per box.
- Ensure tickets in are cleared.
- Monitor the quality of production.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have knowledge of fruit grades, sizes, varieties, machinery, and supplies.
- Ability to train new hires in job functions.
- Ability to make quick, informed decisions during high-pressure situations.
- Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of pack schedules.
- Ability to perform repetitive work while paying attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills.
