Responsibilities

  • Make controlled adjustments to equipment to optimize the running efficiency of the line.
  • Address equipment problems aggressively to minimize downtime.
  • Determine line bottlenecks and take action to improve them.
  • Generate work orders for process improvements and corrective maintenance items.
  • Maintain documentation associated with operations.
  • Operate equipment to handle bottles according to Hood standards.
  • Uphold quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within the designated area.
  • Ensure all required maintenance is performed.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure efficient plant operations.
  • Ensure all resources are available for production runs.
  • Set up the oncoming shift for a successful run.
  • Perform any duties necessary to support the team.
  • Obtain information necessary to perform duties at pre-shift team meetings and by meeting with the outgoing Line Technician.
  • Monitor equipment operation for indications of impending problems and possible operational improvements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3+ years' experience in manufacturing.
  • Intermediate computer skills (i.e., Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Excellent troubleshooting experience.
  • Solid mechanical skills.
