About the position
SM Miller Enterprises is seeking experienced Class A CDL team-truck drivers with a doubles endorsement to operate out of the Atlanta FedEx Ground Hub. The role involves driving over-the-road in a team setting, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of freight while adhering to company standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Drive Class A combination vehicles over-the-road as part of a team.
- Ensure safe driving practices and maintain a clean driving record.
- Complete all necessary documentation and comply with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding schedules and routes.
- Participate in regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
Requirements
- Valid, unexpired CDL Class A license.
- Must be 23 years of age or older.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience driving Class-A combination vehicles.
- Valid DOT Physical certification.
- Doubles Endorsement on driver's license.
- Safe driving history with no preventable accidents or moving traffic convictions in the past 3 years.
