About The Position

As a Journeyman Lineman at Xcel Energy, you will be responsible for performing all duties related to overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission systems. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must hold a Journeyman Lineman Certificate with documentation of completion of a Journeyman Lineman program.
• Possession of a valid Commercial Class A Driver's License.
• Physically capable of performing all aspects of electric overhead and underground distribution construction, operations, and maintenance work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work successfully with customers on a wide range of concerns.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of the Journeyman Lineman classification involving overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission systems.
• Work safely and productively while providing quality customer service.
• Participate in after-hours emergency call-outs as required.
