About the position

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient environment. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring all areas are clean, well-maintained, and operational.
  • Manage housekeeping staff to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and protocols.
  • Coordinate dry cleaning and laundry services to meet the needs of guests and staff.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities to prevent downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for specialized maintenance or repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for all occupants.
  • Prepare reports on facility performance, maintenance issues, and staff productivity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilities management or a related field, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of dry cleaning processes and laundry operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, vendors, and guests professionally.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using facility management software is a plus.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
